Fellow Music Educators:The CMEA Region II Festival will be Saturday, March 6th in the David Marr Auditorium - 2200 Eureka Way, Redding, CA. It is my pleasure once again to serve you in this festival.
As March 6th rapidly approaches, I will need confirmation of your attendance at this festival. Please fill out the attached sheet and return it with payment by Friday, February 11th (Please no purchase orders!). Once I receive all of the applications, I will do my very best to honor your first choice for performance time. It would really help if you could E-Mail me when you get this so I know that you want a performance slot (email@example.com).
I am thrilled to share that have procured the services of Dr. Cynthia Hutton (Director of Bands, Southern Oregon University) and Dr. Martin Behnke (Professor Emeritus, Willamette University). Both of these fine educators will add valuable, fresh insight towards the musical growth of our ensembles.
Adjudicators that are outside our area have higher expenses with travel. In order to stay in budget, I need to raise the festival fees an additional $25 to cover costs. Thank you for your understanding. Although times are tight, I hope twenty-five dollars will not keep one of you from bringing your group to our regional festival.
